Product Manager, Software at Well.ca!

Well.ca is looking for a Product Manager to guide our Software Development team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software developers by defining and communicating deadlines for key projects and tracking team progress
• Employ Agile software management techniques to help Well.ca build software quickly
• Support and motivate the team by creating a structured, positive, and growth oriented team work environment for our developers
• Work with other departments to prioritize and plan new features and improvements to current software
• Develop and present team progress reports; frequently update the team and management
• Champion the customer by leading the team to build efficient and effective, customer-oriented software
• Embody Well.ca’s Core Values and guide the team

Requirements: 

• Product management experience, and (hopefully) experience as a software developer or designer.
• A passion for Agile
• Degree or diploma in software engineering or a related discipline
• Advanced and proven planning, leadership, and organization skills
• Ability to motivate, support, and listen to the needs of the team
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Optional:  Advanced computer skills; knowledge of various software development methods and programming languages including PHP/Python/Java, Javascript, Unix, MySQL, HTML, CSS
