Marketing and Communications Specialist at Well.ca!

Well.ca is looking for an experienced Marketing person to work on a small team of people dedicated to growing our sales and expanding our current web presence. Read on to find out more!

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and with a team, to dream up and deliver on smart web marketing strategies
• Continue to build and maintain our social media and web presence wherever possible
• Assist with and support the growth of various types of web marketing campaigns (display, paid and organic search, social media), and report on their results
• Identify and assess areas for growth and develop marketing solutions that increase customer acquisition and retention
• Assist with the management of web site content to optimize usability; work with Marketing Manager and Software Development Team to continually improve site quality and content
• Assist with and carry out market research and customer feedback initiatives as required
• Provide support and assistance to the Marketing Manager as needed

Requirements: 

• B.A. or equivalent in a business-related discipline, Marketing concentration preferred
• 1-4 years marketing experience, with at least 1 year of web marketing experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity and experience with social media marketing and search marketing
• Drive to succeed, team work ethic, and positive, friendly personality a must!

Bonus Points:

• Startup and/or Web 2.0 experience

Hours and Compensation:

• This position is full-time, in our Guelph office
